Ingredients
1/2 kg. de carne de res de tu preferencia
en esta ocasión usamos bistec de res en cuadritos
.
5 papas blancas
en rebanadas medianas y delgadas
.
5 zanahorias
en rebanadas medianas y delgadas
.
1/4 kilo de ejotes
en trozos medianos
.
4 jitomates guaje
partidos en trozos
.
1 cebolla blanca
fileteada
.
2 ajos
picados finamente
.
Una cucharadita de cominos.
Una cucharadita de pimienta molida.
2 tazas de agua.
Sal al gusto.
Aceite para freír.

Preparation
Colocamos una cacerola amplia en el fuego.
Añadimos aceite
dejamos calentar
.
Añadimos la cebolla y el ajo
dejamos sofreír
.
Añadimos la carne
dejamos cocinar por 10 minutos
.
Agregamos el jitomate, papas, zanahorias y ejotes.
Agregamos las dos tazas de agua.
Añadimos los cominos, la pimienta y sal.
Mezclamos bien e incorporamos todo.
Tapamos la cacerola
dejamos cocinar por 20 minutos, hasta que evapore el agua y las verduras queden cocidas y suaves
.
¡Listo! Tenemos nuestro
estofado de res
